The beauty of ordinary things

Wind tempered grass full of seed and nearing the end of its life-span. But it was so beautiful. 

Wind tempered grass full of seed and nearing the end of its lifespan. It was by the side of the road – nowhere special and easily overlooked. But it was so beautiful.

It is strange, though, that the beauty of ordinary things can emerge when we put a frame around them and give them importance enough to look more closely. To then capture a moment in time when their uniqueness and meaning can become slightly more permanent and clearer.
